 Saree tassels 

               A basic key tassel is made by binding or gathering threads from cord and creating a knot. Tassels are normally decorative elements, and as such one often finds them which is attached on bottom hem of garments and curtains. Adding tassels to any saree makes the saree looks beautiful. Using of elegant beads matching the saree and crocheting with vibrant silk threads , gives you a complete look.

     

                   The tassel was its primary expression, but it also includes fringes, ornamental, threads,  cords, galloons, pompons, rosettes, and gimps. Tassels, pompons and rosettes are point ornaments; the others are linear ornaments.

Materials needed:
1. Silk thread
2. Needle and thread
3. Cardboard to spun

Here are some simple steps for adding kuchu to a traditional saree, dupatta, blouse, etc

Tassels for saree :

        Silk threads with Contrast colour gives a traditional saree pallu a finish and a definition, giving the end look more elegant.




Tassel design :

        Use a cardboard piece to spun upto 250-300 rounds of silk thread, to get a finishing feature in fabric.



Tassel making thread :

       Arrange the silk tassel with the beads using thread and needle to get intricately hand crafted tassels which adds to the detailing of the outfit.





Tassels for saree pallu :

       Stitch all the ordered tassels to the saree pallu leaving two to three inches gap in between the tassels.
